Be a Part of Our Community!
The Iranian Medical Society (IMS) is the only registered charity in the UK with the aim of supporting the Persian speaking medical community in the UK. Whilst over the years other groups have come and gone, appearing to have similar objectives, no other group or society can pride itself in spreading knowledge amongst the Iranian healthcare community for over 50 years.
The Iranian Medical Society is a charity in the UK that serves to provide opportunities to network at professional, social and cultural levels and help its members to develop both personally and professionally and achieve the highest professional and moral standards. In addition, the society serves to provide overseas aid to provide relief, and also offer advice and support to the public, with particular reference to Iranian and Persian speaking community in the UK. Such charitable purposes are for the public benefit and are exclusively charitable according to the laws of England and Wales in all its aspects. In addition we will welcome the endeavor to guide and support willing and enthusiastic members in various fields of medicine and most importantly to guide and support Iranian patients.
HOW WE HELP
Due to the alarming recent outbreak of the coronavirus in Iran, and in line with IMS' previous fund raising efforts and our constitution, we have taken the decision to raise funds to help contain the outbreak unfolding in Iran.

FLOOD RELIEF DONATION
IMS has proudly donated £500 towards flood relief efforts in Iran.

KERMANSHAH EARTHQUAKE EXPEDITION
One of our committee members collected donations from UK hospitals and flew to Iran to lead a medical expedition in affected areas.
